This is what keeps the liquids cold or hot. The polycarbonate plastic and borosilicate insulated glasses are not very good for hot liquid. The heat will tend to melt the glasses and can become dangerous if the liquids should spill out.

Depending on what sort of party you are throwing or just a dinner for two, there are insulated glasses for each occasion. Prices vary form one glass to thirty. The more elaborate the more you will pay. They do come in sets as well. Stores that sell glassware or even kitchen ware will have the insulated glasses. Many grocery stores carry them as well.
